Nathanael Herreshoff
The ATREVIDA is ex. WILDFIRE, changed its name when she moved to Rio de Janeiro in 1946. It was the first Marconi Schooner and a Nathanael Herreshoff design for Charles Hardin of Boston - MA. This schooner was built by Nat Herreshoff at the Herreshoff Shipyard Co. in Bristol - RI,and was launched in 1923. She won the 1923 Astor Cup.
